"Gatsuurt" LLC's agricultural and foreign relations staff attended for the second year at Merlo company technology showcase and training organized in Italy from 09-18^th of March 2019. This training took place at Merlo company located in Cueno, Italy and Asian region dealers including Mongolia, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam dealers’ representatives attended.

Interesting fact is that Merlo family first started off with blacksmith shop and since then the production grew into tank and various machinery parts and iron work. As the business expanded, the Merlo company was officially founded in 1964 and its first plant was built near Cueno.

In 1966 the company built their first concrete mixers and in 1981 their first off-road fork lift truck which they consider marked the beginning of new era in production. Merlo has 6 subsidiaries and over 600 dealers with a 220,000-square-metre factory. Over 90% of production is exported all over the world.

During this 9-day course, training was both theoretical and practical including introduction of the Merlo company structure, operation and production processes as well as maintenance instruction, training, new equipment showcase, technological advances, software and diagnostics.

The employees of "Gatsuurt" who have attended the training are planning give the Merlo equipment training to the company's agricultural staff.
